Ingredients in VITAFORCE™
It took us over three years to create VITAFORCE™ – the most complete nutritional supplement in existence. We sought out the most nutrient dense superfoods in existence and then found the highest quality source for each of those superfoods. We reviewed thousands of peer-reviewed studies published in the world’s most prestigious scientific journals to make sure VITAFORCE™ contained the full array of nutrients needed daily, and the ideal amounts of each nutrient. Below is a brief description of each of the whole food nutrients in VITAFORCE™:
Spirulina – Provides more concentrated vegetable nutrition than any other whole food. Nature’s richest source of carotenoids and the richest source of complete protein in the plant world – three times as much as in beef. Our Spirulina is grown using ultra-pure mineral rich, ocean water drawn from a pipeline that plunges 2000 feet into the sea. Supplies all the essential trace elements, and is a rare source of the anti-inflammatory essential fatty acid GLA. Also provides enzymes, Super Oxide Dismutase, polysaccharides, sulfolipids & glycolipids, and the rainbow of natural protective and antioxidant pigments that give spirulina a deep green color -- Green (chlorophyll), blue (phycocyanin) and orange (carotenoids). Research indicates that Spirulina increases immune function, helps to lower levels of bad cholesterol (LDL), protects against allergic reactions, promotes the growth of probiotics in the gut, and nutritionally supports the liver.
Chlorella – Nature’s second richest source of nutrients (second only to Spirulina). The cell walls are broken for increased absorption of the vital nutrients. In addition to its impressive nutritional profile, Chlorella is nature’s richest source of chlorophyll, contains Chlorella Growth Factor (which is high in RNA/DNA) and is exceedingly rich in phytonutrients (including lutein) and antioxidants. Research suggests that Chlorella is helpful in detoxifying heavy metals and dioxin.
Calcified Red Algae – A wildcrafted algae that contains an abundance of calcium and magnesium to promote bone health. Also contains over 70 trace minerals.
Hydroponic Indian Mustard Greens – A rich source of various minerals and carotenoids. As a member of the cruciferous vegetable family, Indian Mustard Greens are very high in various anticarcinogenic phytonutrients, such as glucosinolate precursors to isothiocyanates and indoles (e.g. Indole-3-carbinol and Allyl-isothiocyanate).
Acerola Cherry – One of nature’s richest sources of vitamin C. Much of the benefit associated with intake of vitamin C actually comes from the interactions of supportive nutritional co-factors found only in food. Acerola cherry is very rich in these cofactors, such as bioflavonoids, anthocyanins, quercetin and polyphenols.
Saccharomyces Cerevisiae Nutritional Yeast – Grown specifically for its nutritive value, it is an excellent source of protein, dietary fiber, vitamins and minerals. It is exceedingly rich in B vitamins, and is a reliable source of Vitamin B-12. Also contains other beneficial components such as beta-1,3 glucan, mannan and glutathione. This yeast is grown on mixtures of cane and beet molasses and is gently heated to reduce all yeast activity. This ingredient is safe for patients with candida albicans or on yeast free diets.
Fructooligosaccharides (FOS) – Derived from cane or beet sugar, FOS promotes health by supporting the growth of beneficial (probiotic) bacteria in the gut. As the probiotic bacteria feed on the FOS, they not only thrive and benefit health, but also crowd out pathogenic bacteria, which can encourage the onset of illness. Research also indicates that FOS significantly improves the absorption of calcium and magnesium.
