Ingredient Explanation
Black Walnut Leaf- Known to oxygenate the blood to kill parasites. Have been used for a long time to kill many kinds of intestinal worms, especially tapeworms. This active ingredient is called juglone and exerts antifungal, antiworm, antiviral, and antibacterial effects. Black walnut hull and wormwood kill adults and developmental stages of at least 100 parasites.
Wormwood Herb- Is an ancient remedy used to kill various parasites -- as indicated by the name. It is effective against a variety of worms, including the giant intestinal roundworm. Wormwood is intensely bitter, and parasites are generally repelled because of this. The dried and powdered flowers are excellent for expelling worms, and the leaves are sufficient to eliminate all live worms and many other parasites. Black walnut hull and wormwood kill adults and developmental stages of at least 100 parasites.
Malefern- Male Fern is one of the most potent remedies ever known for tapeworm, and in fact, until 1965, was listed in the U.S. Pharmacopeia as the accepted treatment for tapeworm. The oleo-resin paralyzes the muscles of the worm so it cannot adhere to the walls of the intestines. It is also used for treating other intestinal parasites.
Fennel Seed- Fennel acts as an appetite suppressant and diuretic, and helps to stabilize the nervous system and expel waste material from the body.
Senna Leaf- Senna's chief action is on the lower bowel, causing mucus secretions with rapid contractions. Senna increases colon peristalsis and helps remove worms.
Tansy Herb- Tansy is a natural and traditional detox for intestinal parasites. Also helps expel worms.
Tame and Wild Sage Leaf- Used for it's ability to expel intestinal worms and bacteria. The oils and tannins in Sage have astringent, antiseptic properties that have potent and active antibacterial agents against microbes.
